All Members (client(s)), of SJFitness4Life Limited (the Studio) must comply with these Rules. These Rules are incorporated into the terms and conditions, and compliance with these Rules is important both to maintain the standard of the studio and to enable clients to obtain full enjoyment from the health & wellness services available.  Any client who does not comply with these Rules may be ejected from, or denied access to the Studio.


  • Opening times for the studio are; 10:00 – 22:00 Monday to Friday.  These hours are guidelines only and may be subject to change at any time.  Services can be provided outside of these hours, although prior agreement is required.

  • Clients must adhere to clothing guidelines for studio attire.  

  • SJFitness4Life reserves the right to use any individual or group photographs or videos shot in the studio  of you for press or promotional purposes.

  • You must not consume any food in the studio.

  • Do not chew gum in the studio, please remove and dispose of prior to entering.

  • If you are suffering from a contagious illness (or coming down with one) do not attend the studio, as you will not be allowed access.  This is to prevent the spreading of viral infections, ensuring that those who are not ill, remain as such.

  • When entering SJFitness4Life please ensure all outdoor footwear is removed and placed in the trugs provided, all jackets /outer clothing are hung up using the hooks provided.  Do not leave any clothing or shoes on the floors.

  • Mobile phones should be placed on silent/do not disturb whilst in the studio (unless pre-agreed).

  • Personal items such as; keys, purses, wallets etc should be placed in one of the smaller trugs provided or in one of the holders provided within the studio.

  • All bottled drinks/water should be stored in the studio cup holders, do not place on the floor.  All spillages must be cleaned up by the person responsible.

  • Water is available to purchase from the studio.  Please do not ask for a glass of water, this is a business not a café.  Bring your own refreshments or purchase them on site. 

  • You must complete a New Client form, a PARQ form, a Medical History form and a lifestyle questionnaire prior to accessing the studio. This is for Insurance purposes and to ensure that all injuries and issues have been clearly stated and observed before session starts.  All fields on all forms must be completed.

  • You are asked to arrive at the studio five (5) minutes prior to any personal training, classes or appointments.


  • Jewellery is not permitted on the following equipment; Poles, Power Plate, Spinning Cycle.  This is due to safety reasons and also due to the damage items such as rings and metal bracelets and watches do to the equipment.

  • Inductions are required for the following equipment prior to use; Power Plate, Spin Cycle, Vibrational equipment, Battle Ropes, Suspension Training equipment, aerial hoop and pole.

  • Appropriate clean exercise clothing and bare feet, socks or indoor shoes only are allowed in the studio.

  • Indoor shoes must be worn when using the studio cycle.

  • Clients using the; Studio Cycle, Power Plate or Vibrational equipment, must ensure they bring a towel with them in order to use the equipment, no towel, no use.

  • Equipment guidelines must be adhered to at all times.

  • You may not use the studio while under the influence of alcohol, anticoagulants, antihistamines, beta-blockers, narcotics or tranquilizers to ensure you exercise safely.

  • Do not bring glass containers into the studio.

  • All equipment must be returned to its original location when a client is finished with it.

  • Do not leave equipment laying around, as this is a trip hazard.

  • Do not leave personal items such as jumpers or shoes laying around in the studio, use coat hooks for coats and jumpers and trugs for shoes.  Any personal items should be placed out of the way behind the studio door.

  • Studio etiquette should be observed at all times. Keep it clean, Keep it tidy and Respect all equipment.

  • Clients are not permitted to take photos or videos unless previously agreed, as this disrupts classes and sessions.

  • Clients must provide their own strapping or support for injuries or issues, do not turn up and expect the injury to be dealt with for you. 

  • All clients should advise prior to their session, if their is a change to their health, ie injury or issue, so that the session can be adapted for them, or cancelled and re-booked, once they have recovered from their injury.

  • All changes to clients health and personal information must be notified to the studio as soon as possible. 

STUDIO SESSIONS (PT, Classes & Courses)

  • You must pre-book all sessions  to ensure your participation in them.

  • All sessions are pre-pay. No pay no booking.

  • All sessions must be paid for forty eight (48) business hours prior to their start (2 business days ie Monday – Friday).

  • If you can no longer attend a session, you must cancel your booking as soon as you are able to by notifying myself via; text message or phone call. 

  • Cancellations under twenty four (24) business working hours (Monday-Friday) will result in that session being lost.

  • Class/Course times are subject to change from time to time without notice.

  • Do not enter the studio whilst a session is in progress, please wait quietly, until all clients have left the studio, before entering.

  • If at any time, a client is jeopardising the safety or enjoyment of others in the class, they will be asked to leave the class and the premises.

  • All sessions will start on time, anyone arriving later than the start time, will need to fit themselves into the sessions activities.



  • Bags are available to purchase in which to store clothing and personal items in.  Only studio bought bags are permitted in the studio and each bag will be allocated a designated space with the members name listed above it.  A maximum of eight spaces are available.  When a client leaves, the bag is theirs to keep.

  • Any other items found in the studio will be held for 30 days, if no claim is made the item will be disposed of.


  • If a client requires an order to be placed for equipment, products, supplements etc, full payment is required upfront prior to order.

  • No payment no order.

  • It is the clients responsibility to collect any purchased items from the studio.  All purchased items are for collection only, no items will be posted.


  • Off road Car parking is provided for one car, further parking is available along the road.   When parking please park pretty and respect all of my neighbours and their properties.

  • All client cars and their contents are the responsibility of the client, any damages or issues arising from being parked unattended are not the responsibility of SJFitness4Life Limited.  Please refer to Terms and Conditions.


  • You must use the main entrance to the studio, obeying all access rules.

  • The Fire exit, which is clearly marked, is there in the interests of safety and you must not interfere with fire doors for any reason.

  • You must read and obey any health & safety notices posted outside of the studio and anywhere within the studio.

  • You must comply with any reasonable requests made by the company in relation to matters of health and safety.

  • The First Aid kit is located outside of the studio door.

  • The Accident book is located just outside of the studio door.

  • A Fire Blanket is located outside of the studio door.
